Gmail competition #2

GmailHaving a few Gmail invites lying around doing nothing, how abouts one more competition? Jolly good.

I want you to dig out a link to the most enlightening article you’ve read in the recent past. Again, it can be about anything. Design, movies, spirituality, space, music. In short anything you like.

Again, here are the rules:

  • Begging won’t get you an invite.
  • It should be an article of some substance. Not just two lines and a picture of me in a tu-tu.
  • Competition ends friday evening CET.

Highlighting Comments

I implemented Markku Seguerra’s comment highlighting, which means that it’s possible for me to give small medals (I was in a hurry, okay?!) to comments that I find particularly interesting. I have so far highlighted a single comment in the Planes vs. Trains entry.

In the future I hope to use it for making it faster for the people who aren’t so much interested in walking through each single comment, to still keep tabs on the discussions. It won’t work in RSS.

This plugin was inspired by Dave Shea’s recent update to his blog.

A visit from Skywalker Ranch

Today and tomorrow, at work, we’re having Matthew Wood from Skywalker Ranch over to do some lecturing on audio and what not. Should be very interesting, and I’ll surely do all I can to sneak into the otherwise audio-geeks-only ‘classes’.
