Today and tomorrow, at work, we’re having Matthew Wood from Skywalker Ranch over to do some lecturing on audio and what not. Should be very interesting, and I’ll surely do all I can to sneak into the otherwise audio-geeks-only ‘classes’.

That reminds me, I noticed Hitman: Contracts, at least the Xbox version, does not support HD when many of the console’s titles do. Do you know what the reason might have been to leave it out?
How the devil does that remind you? :)
By HD, do you mean Hard-Drive or High Definition?
High Def, no support for 720p.
I don’t actually know. I’ll see if I can find out who’s in charge of stuff like that and ask. But my guess is that it’s because Hitman was made for the lowest denominator of the three platforms (PS2, Xbox and PC) and then ported. And while the texture resolution is twice as high on both Xbox and PC as it is on PS2, that’s about the only change. No further tweaking is really done to accomodate the other platforms as such. The market simply isn’t big enough to warrant it.
That’d be my guess.
Aww, you lucky lucky bastards, I wanna come over and listen to him too! Pretty please? :D
Let me put it this way…just ignore the closed curtain in the conference room that just KEEPS moving and making Arsenio Hall like “whroof-whroof-whroof” sounds, during the lecture :-)
