Hitman: Blood Money hits the stores today, and I just got my hands on my special edition copy. And let me tell you, it is nice! Possibly the best looking game cover I’ve ever seen. I’ll see if I can’t find a camera somewhere to get a shot of me with it and post here.
Anyway, tonight is the big release party, which if one were to judge from the last party, about two years ago, it’s only going to be the coolest party ever! So yeah, I’m pretty stoked, and then of course it’s also kinda cool seeing one’s name on the credits of a major game title (even if my contribution has been quite minimal).
So anyway, the weekend is set aside for a major hangover (and a 1am showing of X3)
So what did you do in the development?
I was a graphic artist.
Yeah, the Special Edition is great. I’m currently listening to the soundtrack on the second DVD. Jesper Kyd is a legend.
I hope this doesn’t make me sound too nerdy, but the first thing I looked up in the manual was your name Mike… Anywho, congratulations to all at IO on a fine game!
On a side note, interesting to see what the inside of IO looks like.

I had a go with the demo you left a link to in an earlier post, and whilst its not really my style of game (too much thinking involved) it certainly looks very pretty.
Im playing through HL2 on my MBP and those 2 games are the best Ive seen so far.

Just finished it (didn’t put it down the entire day). Bought it for the PS2 because I was worried that my PC wouldn’t do it justice… It is certainly one of the best looking games on the PS2, and the engine is amazing. ‘Gratz to IO and yourself on creating such a polished and gripping game.
Yeah, it rocks pretty hard — I was at IO when it was released.
Tatiana presented each of us interns with a PC edition, signed by the lead game designers and a few others (e.g. Tore Blystad).
My stay was awesome, and the game is even more so.

I thought you were referring to the game itself, as in “That’s cool, MenZa. Do you know if Hitman: Blood Money is coming out on the PS2?”.
But yeah, I’m pretty sure there are cheats for the PS2.
oh well hopefully they’ll bring them out soon, like all weapons etc so i u can mess about on levels you’ve completed. they had cheats for the last games!
Ive had hitman 3 days now..I’d only ever played hitman contracts for 2 days before this..and i have missed out..im almost finished as i am a little bit rusty..I have not put the game down at all..ive been playing 6 hours straight today..brilliant game..but any cheats? because i love getting all weapons and just killing anyone i see..its great fun..id love to see the papers after i massacre 100+ people!! :) Anywways…any cheats..love to hear em.
