Back in the late 90’s, Tim Burton was involved with a new Superman movie though nothing ever came of it. And thank God for that. (Also remember to watch Kevin Smith talking about his involvement with Superman back then).

Kevin Smith reminded me why I used to like him when I saw that clip. Good stuff. But this is the first time I’ve seen the concept art from Burton’s version. God, that shit is horrendous. Burton keeps failing to remind me why I used to like him.

A Burton Superman would have at least been interesting. “Edward Superman,” maybe? It’s better than when Nic Cage was attached to the Superman movie. Ick.
