I’m on my way out the door, but I need to show you this first. I wish I had some video from where we were standing, so you could see the band just enjoying the 50.000 people singing the guitar solo back to them.

When you said they were singing the guitar solo, I was hoping you meant 50000 people were all making guitar noises, going “wah wah waahhh” or something. ;)
LÃ¥-lÃ¥-lÃ¥ .… LÃ…-LÃ…Ã…Ã…-LÃ…Ã…Ã……
Sound like Enghavevej at 3a.m. on a saturday night.

I had tickets for that show and didn’t go because work is busy. :-( WHY WHY WHYYYYYYYY don’t I learn, I should always go!
But I was at their Wembley, London gig last week and the same thing happened there…Metallica gigs are always an amazing atmosphere.
I knew as soon as I saw the title of this post, without seeing the pics, that it was going to be Metallica. :-)
Just prooved what fuck it was leaving solos of St anger!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Haha, very nice. I have a friend who also were there :)
Not the solo they are singing but the backing vocal provided by Maryanne Faithfull in the original version of “The Memory Remains”. See Youtube video at 3:30 that flows through until the song ends. Meh.

And apparently the singing at the end of the live shows is pretty commonplace. Just for the record.
