Great read. And yet soo depressing.
I really haven’t thought about the effort to make the OT look like the prequels on the dvd:s, but it makes sense (and looks horrible).
And the fact that AOTC and ROTS is forever-and-ever just 1080 lines of resolution really starts to feel inadequate when a cheap pocket camera has the same resolution now (if not the rest of the quality).
fascinating indeed. how shortsighted of a professional filmmaker (especially one with such an obvious technological know-how) to film in 1080p HD on practically first-generation hardware for those prequels.
ouch. and i get pissy when i think how many photos I took before discovering RAW… I can just imagine how Lucas must feel!
