ModDB Star Wars Logo

I did this logo for the Modification Database, It’ll be going into rotation hopefully to promote Jedi Outcast: Team Assault, the Star Wars mod I’m working on. Progress on the Cloud City level is good, a long way to go, but things are slowly clicking, now if only I could find more images of the insides of it.

Update: I’m no longer with Team Assault. Not for lack of wanting, but simply because I’m having trouble fitting all the things I want to do into my schedule. My best of wishes fly out to Renegade and the rest of the crew. Good luck guys.

Cloud City

Well I’ve been throwing together the basic layout of my Cloud City level for Team Assault for a few days now, and I’ve gotten some very nice results so far.

First of all, this level is going to be huge! I mean B-I-G!!

Secondly it’s going to be pretty damn cool if I do have to say so myself.

I’ve tried to stay as close to the original design as I could. I’ve watched the CC scenes in Empire over and over, making sketches and taking notes. I’ve scoured the net for images, storyboards, sketches and production paitings, and although there’s still a few holes in my overall picture of how things are supposed to look, I feel my current layout and style stays true to the Cloud City we see in Empire Strikes Back.

I have however had to take a few liberties here and there, but I’ve tried to do so and still keep the feeling that you’re actually there in the pearly white hallways of the ‘Hotel’.

One thing though, it’s going to be one hell of a job to texture all this, but luckily I don’t have to worry about that for another month or two :)

Oh yeah, and Minority Report will be out this week! Yeeaah! How I hate living on what Hollywood considers to be the dark side of Earth :(
