I’be yammering to Bjørn about the lack of new Office icons for a while now, and it seems they’re finally here with the Technical Refresh for Office 2003 Beta.

Very nice indeed, any reason(s) why I should upgrade from 2002 to 2003? And I don’t mean just because of the icons if that was what you were thinking Mike ;-)
Huh… But icons and UI has been the only reason to update Office for 4 versions?!… :)
Well I can’t be bothered with a review of Office right now, so I’ll just say have a look at the screenshot I put up in the other entry.
I’ve only really used Outlook and Word. Word has an Atomica-like feature which allows you to ‘research’. Very nice, well implemented.
I’ll stick with the Mac Office icons I have – much better, the Office 2000 style Office icons are some of the worst Microsoft have eveer created, even with this updated look they still don’t fit in with Luna and look crap.
these are beautiful icons, better than OFFICE XP
I would upgrade mainly for better icons and interfaces…if I could afford to. Do you know where I can find these icons standalone? Thanks.
