… Oh, wrong day.
I hope you have plans for tonight. If not, you can thank me for providing countless hours of entertainment.
Rikke and I are going to spend a – for once – quiet night just the two of us and some good food.
To my party-people in Aalborg: Rock on! To my brov’as in Scotland: Don’t get too drunk, exams are coming up… Bah, who cares, knock yourselves out!
To other family and friends: Watch out for falling debris and pink elephants.
I’ll see you in the new year, have a good one.

Sinbad and the Legend of the Seven Seas (IMDB)- Well it’s certainly leagues ahead of anything Disney has managed to conjure up in the past decade. And the animation… Wow! Just mindbogglingly cool! I especially liked how Eris moved. Very impressive. The story however is standard fare. It’s a good action/adventure tale minded mostly for children, but if you cut a bit of slack it’s not too bad (and still better than crap like Treasure Planet). I do still however wish that Dreamworks would join Pixar in carrying along animation on its intended trajectory (as per my view).
Beneath the Valley of the Ultra-Vixens (IMDB) – If you’re not squeamish about a little nudity… Well a lot! Then it’s a barrel of laughs :) Though I think that what I have seen of his earlier movies, this is probably in the lower end. Which is funny, because I would rather see this movie, any day of the week, than 95% of the crap sitting in cinema’s today.
I have a list of some 20-30 movies that I haven’t added capsule reviews for yet, so expect to see those on here soon.

Plenty more thoughts on the Powerbook are slowly making their way to the surface and will probably end up here in a day or two. Some are good, some are… not quite so good.
In the meanwhile I’m looking for a way to backup my vital data on a daily basis. Be it on the PB, to the PC or whatever, doesn’t matter. In particular stuff like iCal, the Address Book and Mail as well as the iTunes library. So if you have any suggestions for doing this – automated – then chime in please.
By the way, if you liked Kill Bill then you might find at least a passing liking for sexploitation at its finest (well the earlier Meyer movies are arguably better than this, the last, but still…) Beneath the Valley of the Ultra-Vixens by Russ Meyer. It’s on TV2 Zulu tonight.

The photos from the Return of the King galla premiere are up. I just scanned the most interesting ones, in case you were wondering. Also in case you were wondering – and if you’re not Danish – the couple on the first photo is Iben Hjejle and Kasper Kristensen. If you’re Danish you’ll most certainly know them from the sitcom ‘Langt fra Las Vegas’, if you’re not then you might know Iben Hjejle from the film High Fidelity.
Then there are two pictures of the royal family as well, so those will be the ones you don’t know either :)

Will you believe I almost feel for this scam! At first I was apprehensive, checking out the mail, checking out the site. Eventually ended up saying to myself that I would look into it more seriously later when I had the time to verify it. Then 10 minutes later another mail arrived… Hmmm… Odd, but maybe they wanted me to do it like now! Within an hour I had received another 5 mails. So I decided to check it out.
I read up on PayPal’s security guidelines, and sure enough it said that they would never send me a mail without my name in it, which was enough for me to just press junk in Mail.
But damn this could be seriously dangerous for a lot of people! Oh, BTW, which browser is it that is vulnerable to this again? Ah yes, Internet Explorer, that’s right. Has an update been released to this widely known vulnerability yet? No… Too late!

Matt, ever enigma’d by the screwy traditions of those pesky Danes, has portrayed Stig (and others) in his moment of unbridled victory.

If you have no idea what all this means, then feel free to ask ;)

Well the long Christmas visit-family-trip is almost over. We’re on a train tomorrow evening back to Copenhagen. It’s been nice to visit the various family members and relatives, but I think we’re both looking forward to getting back to our room. Or rather I think we’re both looking forward to moving into the new apartment in January; finally some damn privacy!
I have spent most of December, including the last week, sharing my privacy, living space, Internet, and will you believe it, Powerbook with others. Enough Dammit!
Now I’m going to finish watching Dr. No, which was ingeniously dubbed ‘Mission Kill’ in Danish… Nice one.
