Noooooo! You can’t do that! You can’t end a season like that! What the hell is wrong with you people?! What are you? Cylons!? That’s it, I’m going into hibernation!

You've reach the blog of Michael Heilemann. This small 'about' blurp really should have more text and a few links in it, but I can't be bothered, as I seem to break it constantly anyway. So, instead I suggest you take your pointer, move it around and see what you can click. Maybe you'll find something interesting.
For now, you can have a look at Flickr, Google Reader Shares, Last.fm, Allconsuming, del.icio.us, MobyGames, tumblr, LinkedIn or Digg
No, indeed! I’ve just watched it again with my wife (it’s the first ep of BG she’s seen). She’s hooked and is likely to go back and watch all the others (lucky I’ve kept them).
I wonder when the next series (or will it be the rest of S2) starts?
Yes, it was incrediable to the that “To be continued” and it will be continued in January! Hibernation is a good idea.
Oh come on, you’ve got to love that staple in television (and sometimes in movies, a la Back to the Future). It’s frustrated, yes, but it also gives you something to look forward to.
It’s a modern take on the classic cliffhanger ploy.
What is it with all the good hour-long dramas out there now? BSG, Lost, etc.
Now if only Fox would release Firefly from its purgatorial state…
Despite the fact that I want to see more (and like NOW), and that the mid-season finale was possibly the most graphic and realistic episode yet… it was the perfect way to end that episode and keep us over until January.
I’m STILL in shock over what happened to the Cylon prisoners. WOW. I mean, who’d have thought they’d actually show that stuff on BSG?
BSG’s “mid-season” finale was definitely an evil cliffhanger. I really can’t wait to see how this all plays out. I really like where the show has gone this season (and season one was great too). Definitely one of the best shows on TV.
hehe!

say no more!
it is cruel, isn’t it.
ha, we the brits get the ends to both stargate shows and BSG before the americans
saying that, you’ll probably get them of bit torrent straight after
Be happy you’re able to watch at all. Here in Canada (where I am anyway, on the west coast), the second season doesn’t start at all until January :-(.
Although supposedly the space channel is going to be replaying the first season in October – I look forward to watching that – I never saw the first episode!
I wonder if season DVDs are going to published…That’s be great to get the first season on DVD for Christmas!
The Season One DVDs should be out for the US either now or in October. (Can’t recall the exact date, but I’ve been seeing them advertised on TV.)
They’ve been out for a while now actually.
Season 1 BSG DVD’s are available for sale in the US at BestBuy.com.
From a search of their web site, I found there are two versions available. One is the UK version (release date : 7/26/05), which evidently had some different scenes than the US TV version. The second version was released on 9/20/05.
They also have the Firefly series on DVD.
I just noticed Best Buy has the TV series “Space Above & Beyond” available for sale on DVD. Ranks in the top 5 SciFi series on TV, in my opinion.
Oooh, thanks for the tips ont eh season DVD’s. I’ve just found them on Amazon…not surprisingly, the majority of the reviews are positive ones ;-)
I’ll have to keep my eyes open for those – see if I can find them in a lcoal store. If I do, they’re going on my Christmas wish list! :-)
