You've reach the blog of Michael Heilemann. This small 'about' blurp really should have more text and a few links in it, but I can't be bothered, as I seem to break it constantly anyway. So, instead I suggest you take your pointer, move it around and see what you can click. Maybe you'll find something interesting.
For now, you can have a look at Flickr, Google Reader Shares, Last.fm, Allconsuming, del.icio.us, MobyGames, tumblr, LinkedIn or Digg
Hey Mike do you primarly use safari or FF on your macs?
I’m all Safari.
So are the much vaunted Mac improvements in 1.5?
Not sure yet; I wrote the entry just before I went to the factory, so I didn’t have time to test it. But I’ll check it out as soon as I get home.
Memory usage is better on FF 1.5, but still not as good as the new beta Camino, which is also faster.
Wow, that Dittes.info guy doesn’t half go in for trackback-spamming.
“Here’s Firefox 1.5 and now … here’s a list of 18 other sites that have mentioned FF1.5 today, so I can leech a bit of their traffic.”
Yeah, that was a bit of a weird trackback; remove’d.
Why do you use Safari? It doesn’t even have tabs, does it?
Heh, yeah, it has tabs alright :) — I use it because it’s a great browser, simple as that really. It’s standards compliant, updated regularly, well integrated with OS X and nice to use.
Now Bjørn, to answer the Firefox on OS X question: Yes, there have been numerous improvements. It now minimizes on the right shortcut key combo. Also there’s no hidden window which pops up in exposé anymore. However, widgets still aren’t native, and probably never will be, and it doesn’t integrate with OS X’s native dictionary (which is what makes what I write passable as the English language).
But it’s pretty good overall. Though I’m sticking with Safari nonetheless.
To make the widgets a little more mac like, check out this little mod to Firefox.

I just purchased my first mac a few days ago (a iMac G5 17”). I absolutely love it. I juggled three browsers (Safari, Firefox, and Camino) for a couple of days to see which one I liked best.
Firefox came on-top. I just have too many sites that are still a little touchy with Safari. I also like the UI better and it seems just as fast as Safari both starting up and using it.
Check out 1.5. It is much improved.
I used a buddy’s Mac for a few days and found Firefox was the best, too…Safari broke too many of my favorite sites (shame on them, yes, i know!)
Chris, yeah I know about that ‘widget enhancer’, but while it’s better than the standard Firefox widgets, they’re still not aqua…
Eli, your favorite sites suck :)
