I’ve got some bad news about Shuttle and me as well as something on Kubrick and Napoleon, Reboot and some quick thoughts on burning hot news items that ticked in while I did the show.

I really like the podcast. I wish you would have a whole thing on K2 and what still needs to be done and stuff.
I was listening to your Podcast while sleeping and just had to get up in the middle of the night to write a comment. Being in my teens I haven’t been exposed to any Kubrick (except Full Metal Jacket) and by chance saw Eyes Wide Shut air on Channel 5 (in the UK) on Sunday. I would describe it as one of the most moving films I’ve seen, on a personal level, and as a consequence I have become extremely interested in Kubrick. I also started reading everything I could find on Kubrick and was particularly fascinated in the way he researched his movies.
Basically this Podcast was perfectly timed to coincide with own discovery of Kubrick and I’m waiting avidly for a blog post on him!
I’d also like to add that I’m sure you were referring to the following Guardian article in the Podcast which is a brilliant read:

I must of zoned out or something in the beginning, because I didn’t hear anything about K2. I heard stuff about Shuttle, and then Napoleon, and Kubrick, and then wrapping it up. I thought you said at the start of it that you were going to have some sort of news on K2. I’m too lazy now to listen back.
