E3 Cancelled?

Word is coming down the wire that E3 has been cancelled… Ehm… Can they do that? Nothing official yet, but as soon as I know… Well, there’ll be a gap, but you’ll know not long after. Gamespot is meanwhile reporting E3 will be downsized. Now that I can believe (and I even think it sounds like a pretty good idea from a developer standpoint. Though from a fanboy standpoint I think something else will spring up in E3’s place).

Bachelor Weekend Writing

So I’m a bit late with declaring bachelor weekend, but hey…

Rikke was off home to her mom friday, and I’ve been secured in front of the computer ever since, going out only to stock up on Coke and… ehm, well just Coke actually.

Now I had actually planned to spend this bachelor weekend writing, but somehow I got sucked into K2 instead and I ended up not only moving the entire project to Google Code Hosting, but also fixing some bugs and adding some new features and—who would’ve thought—even working on the documentation wiki. It’s looking very solid at the moment. There are a few quirks here and there, but a new proper release is on its way soon. Very soon.

Syd Mead Video Interview

By far one of my all-time favorite artists, Syd Mead, has been interviewed by cgchannel.com. Aliens, Tron, BladeRunner and so on and so forth. Does it get much better? He likes himself though, that’s for sure… (The sound is horrible, which is too bad).

I could have done without the Hoobastank Nickleback soundtrack (especially considering the fucking grade-A brilliant season 2 score!), but other than that I sure as shit can’t wait for the third season to come around. Only a second season of Firefly could top that :)
