This is the first post on my new blog software, weeee!
It’s 03.36, I’m going to bed now. Feel free to poke around a bit, the old blog is here, I hope to port all of it over to this new system, though it has to be done manually so who knows if that’ll ever get done.
There are many benefits (for me at least) with this system. First of all it allows me to have more than one post on the main blog page and it categorizes the entries in under days. This is really nice as it allows me to update several times in one day and still have all the entries on the frontpage, thus keeping people from having to go back to see what has been going on.
Also it automatically mails me when you leave a comment, and it has RSS, which I’ll probably get back to later.
There are still some layout issues to solve, but for now things should be working. There’s still a calender (which right now only has this one post on it) in the bottom, and now there’s also a search function, which while rudimentary is functional and finally an archive which’ll allow you to view entire months in one stretch.
